Between May 14th and 17th, the Angus Reid Institute conducted a survey on 1,600 Canadians to gather public opinion data for border measures and ‘proof of vaccination’ findings. The findings include:
76% support proof of vaccination for travel between the US and Canada.
79% support proof of vaccination for travel internationally (US not included here).
55% agree that vaccine passports should be used in their communities (i.e. restaurants, malls, movie theatres).
41% oppose use of vaccine passports in their communities.
80% believe quarantine restrictions are necessary for those entering Canada.
48% believe that the Canadian border should be closed for travel until at least September.
